Good Riddance 2020

Share this post :

One year ago this week, we had so much promise ahead of us as we prepared to enter into 2020. The year 2020 had such a nice sound to it. TWENTY-TWENTY. It was a year that sounded so futuristic back in the 60’s and 70’s. We had so much hope for what the futuristic 2020 would deliver to us.

What 2020 actually delivered was the equivalent of two black eyes, a bloody nose and a few broken ribs. 2020 arrived simply enough like the beginning of each new year. We had new goals, new resolutions, hopes and dreams. Instead of the beautiful dream we wanted to live, we found ourselves living in a nightmare that was largely defined on or about St. Patrick’s Day. The usual St. Patty’s Day celebrations of green beer, corned beef and wearing of the green quickly changed as America went into lockdown mode and we began working from home or worse, sitting idle waiting for something to happen. However, we think everyone has had enough. We are all ready to return to our normal lives and socialize with our friends and colleagues. We are ready to go to conventions again. We are ready to have large family celebrations like we used to do. We are probably ready for a two-hour massage.

With that, we say, good riddance to 2020. We are very hopeful that the vaccine will help us get on the fast track to a better 2021. We wish you a prosperous New Year and remind you that we are here for you when you are ready to roll and to provide
